Scheduling - JT3 Quotes

"I wanted to see who we were,'' JT3 said. "It's not the normal opening stretch. What we didn't do at Tulane is better ourselves. The game against Temple was ugly as both teams played good defense. We had to hold on to win. I wanted to see how this team would handle adversity, grow from these situations and how they'd deal with it. This schedule is by design to give us adversity since that's the way our league works.''

Not unlike anything he has said before, but certainly different from the days of opening against St. Leo's or Hawaii-Hilo...

I'm ok with this philosophy

But this team better grow up fast. They aren’t going to beat Syracuse looking anything like they did the other night. That team looked damned good last night. Wesley Johnson looks like the second coming of freaking Carmelo Anthony or something. Looks like that loss to Lemoyne woke the Orange up. Hopefully, they implode at some point like most Boeheim coached teams, because they throttled Cal last night (which could simply be an indication that the Pac 10 is terrible, but I’m not sure the Big East is as down as everyone thinks it is).

Also, I hate Syracuse. A lot.
